Does anyone have an alternative for the Downey Sway Bar links? I have a 2005 Tundra with Camburg upper arms and Bilstein 5100's on the top notch. I am needing some longer sway bar links, and Downey went under. Thanks

1. Go to your local steel supply house and find some DOM that has an I.D. close to the O.D. of your links.

2. Remove said links.

3. Cut said links in half.

4. Cut new DOM sleeves to desired extension length, while allowing an extra 1" - 2" to slip over each half of the links.

5. Remove any rubber bushing material off link halves to prevent melting.

6. Weld sleeve to link halves on each side.

7. Apply paint.

8. Reinstall your new, custom extended links.
