hi, it is a pnp computer module. that will allow you to gain HP & Torque.
raise your shift points to a higher rpm. it plugs into your ecu unit.
look it up UNICHIP! google it. or Unichip Automotive Performance - Homepage
i have all mod's plus the custom tuned unichip & i have a 350hp & 400 in torque 05 4.7l VVTI V8 tundra.
that is what the unichip did for me. it took my mod's to a whole new level.
you might want to look them up. or search this forum.
pro's & con's.

They will trash the truck for a week on DYNO I'm in if i mine were 05 and on east coast. Someone jump in on this yet??? Come on its cheaper to rent some junk from rental company for a week = save on gas that week + get custom tuned :first: unichip. That a steal for real. Come on people someone do it. There's no more free lunch these days except when someone wants you to be a lab rat.
P.S. the bike borum i was in when i had Yamaha a guy got Power Commander via same promo (same like unichip) and was very very happy.

I have a stock 05 tundra, with a leveling kit on it. What type of truck are they looking for? Will they really trash my truck on the dyno? I might be interested. I just have to find something to drive for a week.

if he say's he can't leave it for a week, than i already have a 2nd person.



i did more tuning & dyno'ing than most, and accessing my wiring on my ecu than all of you. my tundra blows you all away.

how many times did i tell you i already beat a 5.7'S
enough said.
this is the reason i get wacked out.
it blows my mind.
what i tried to do, is amazing.
lets see if you people can offer from a company a fully installed lift kit, or rims & tires for free if you lend them your tundra.

Gorilla :sorry: dont keep harsh feelings too long - the truck trashing part is to scare those away that have absolutely no understanding whats its all about, and will only cause trouble for the company with unnecessary questions etc. No one would give their vehicle to trash around in return of computer mod. Besides its reputable company, not your buddy doing it(never lend truck to buddy or will see it later on youtube doing donuts ), so even if anything would happen, i can put my sack under the axe that they would fix it for you. Think about it. They are making you a favor actually. Dyno'ing the truck isn't trashing for those that do not understand. Its testing performance in certain conditions for certain reasons.

Gorilla is been here a while and is well respected member. Dunno if he got insulted about "unichip the trashing the truck" comment - nobody should, as that wasn't personal, more intended to discourage newbies and kids from it, who want free stuff but dunno much about. Besides such a person would likely cause trouble to company and couldn't provide reasonable feedback about the mod. Congrats to whomever gets it, will wait for outcome of it soon.

I have a question.
Is Unichip going to post the results of this test? I would like to see some real data before and after. There is so much here-say about these chips but I have never seen hard data proving the chips actually are a benefit.
