I realize this may be a foolish question but...

When replacing the MAF i know that it is 'plug & Play' ( minus the two screw removal) but is there anything else that must be done? My local dealership is telling me there needs to be some kind od diagnostics run after the install....is that true??

x3! Plug & play .

You don't really even need to unplug the ECU...just turn it on and go drive around like normal, the ECU will recalculate everything as you drive based on the new sensor.

Whadja do to mess up the old one?
