Just bought a 2000 that's got 263K and has apparently been sitting a couple years. Already changed the oil and am thinking I should also change the coolant, trans fluid and diff fluid.

Definitely smelling some coolant after it runs a bit so I'm thinking there may be a small leak somewhere, but it's made it the hour home on the highway ok, though it was about ready to overheat by the time I got home.

It's only going to be a weekend/for projects vehicle for me but any other recommendations of things I should address sooner than later?

I actually added it to the my app, and can see all the prior work. Seems it was really just oil changes all along and random stuff when necessary (fuel tank straps, etx). I'll check out the site toy shared though.

Edit. The toyota service history is quite a bit more detailed, thanks again. Still curious what else I should be replacing right away though.

i think safety items are number one - are the brakes in good shape and the tires? if you're just running to the home depot a few miles away and are not going to risk overheating, i would focus on making sure those items are covered, keep an eye on the coolant level, and worry about doing more when you have plan budget for it
