Scenario: Im a student at Clemson, during Football season everyone piles into my truck to go tailgating before the football game. I have 2007 DC SR 5 JBL model. It has great sound and projects it well, but want a little more uummfff if you know what I mean. So I would like create a box that will fix in the back of the bed against the back of the bed that will have speakers/subs/amps. In order to run wires and send the music/power from the cab to the set-up in the bed I'll have to drill a hole in the cab and run wires. Im not confident in myself to do all this and make it, but was wondering if I could get some idea's, advice or help on what I mit need. So then I could go into an audio store and tell them what I need. If its impossible or unrealistic you can tell me that also. Wont mind. Thanks for reading and helpful advice.
:ts:

ps. the reason it needs to be mobile is in case I need to take it out to put stuff in the bed.

When I was 16, I had a set of these in my Jeep CJ-7. We would take them out after we closed at work or if we were out in the woods having fun. They don't make these anymore but I wonder if there are any other companies out there that make something similar. Couldn't find anything through google. I definitely wouldn't drill through the cab as you can just get some longer speaker wire and just run the wire from the amp out the window to the speakers in the bed when you need them.

I did find some here they are: http://www.electronixwarehouse.com/car/boxes/loaded/angled-carpet.htm

These would be easy in, easy out of the truck. If you run an amp from inside the cab, all you need is some long speaker wire and your all set.

Awesome, glad im not the only one who thought this was a cool idea. Thanks for the help and guidance. For some reason my internet wont let me look at it, but ill try tomorrow. I agree with not drilling the whole. Despite it mit come off a little *******-ish it will be only temporarily and will work.
