I have a 2008 2WD 5.7L dbl cab and spend much of my time in clay and sand calling on customers (yes, I get paid to go offroading). I am geeting ready to buy an ARB locker, RD146, and an Emu 2 1/2" lift. With this set-up, I would like to go to a 325/65-18 or 325/60-18 tire. I am more concerned with the footprint than the diameter. Can anyone give me some advise about this set up or another recommendation? Also, should I go to a wheel with a smaller backspace (4.5"?) to clear the frame?

Thanks,
DaudelinBRT

PS I will remove the "useless front flaps" that everyone is so fond of.

***UPDATE***

I have purchased the Old Man Emu lift kit. After reading posts about front end sag on this kit, I decided to get the 'Heavy Kit'. Also, I measured the fender height of my truck and several new Tundras and the front end seems to sag about 1/4" on the stock set-up anyway. I will post pictures before and after as well as during the install.

I would still like some one to comment on the tire size. I would like to hear from someone who has had experience with a 2 1/2" lift and 325/60R-18 tires.

Thanks,
DaudelinBRT
