There's a TL;DR version of this story that involves new shocks and struts (twice) a wheel held on by only a single lug stud, six different shops, more information than I ever wanted about what a Haweka plate is and an amazing staff at Discount Tire.

The short version is I'm three months and nearly $3k into a process of trying to get a 20" MB Vector wheel (with Yoko YK580s or Bridgestones, neither of which would ride without shaking my teeth out) that will run as smoothly as the pitted old alloy 3 spoke OEM wheels on my 2002 Sequoia Limited. I love this truck and want to keep it running but this process is killing me.

Has anyone successfully run a 20" MB Vector on a 1st Gen Sequoia? Ever? Without them shaking your whole vehicle intermittently between 62-75MPH?

If so, can you please tell me what you did? (Tires, spacers, Bilsteins, voodoo?)

Thanks,
Cody

Hi, Cody-

Welcome to TundraSolutions.com!

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a tough time isolating what's causing the shaking between 62-75MPH; we'd like to help.

PM coming your way.
