I recently bought a 2007 Tundra, and I am planning to mount the tool box I had in my old 2000 Dodge onto it. I had used the Grip-Rite mounting blocks on the ol' Dodge and they worked wonderfully for 10 years.

My Tundra has the Deck-Rail System installed so I am pretty sure those blocks will not work for this application. I have searched the Forums and didn't find an answer to this....so I figured I'd post a question about it.

Do any of y'all have a toolbox mounted in a 2nd generation Tundra with the Deck-Rail System installed, and HOW did you do it?

Thanks in advance.

I believe I just clipped the J bolts into the deck rail system on mine.

I also removed the front cab side part of the deck rail system, but it wasn't necessary, I just didn't want to lose any part of my bed I didn't have to.
