my Tundra got weighed today in the process of cashing in over 500lbs of aluminum cans.

The setup pictured below tared out at 6220lbs I figure the trailer (a lightweight 5x10) weighs around 700lbs me and the wife weigh 400lbs or so putting the truck at 5100 + or - a few lbs

I took my 2001 Tundra AC to a truck scale once because i was trying curious to see what it weighted. Mine came out at just over 5500 pounds with a full tank of gas. I wasnt inside the truck because i wanted just the truck weight. But i have a huge toolbox in the bed with at least 200 pounds of tools in it. Im sure if it was stock it would be around 5000 pounds or so.

Currently $0.60 a lb for cans. It's been higher but I need to cash in and pay my sales tax and clean up in the process. Right now I'm stripping a 1989 Mazda MPV for it's "dirty" aluminum and wheels.
