Well it ain't much but I like it. Bilstein 5100's at 2.5 inch and 5100 rears with 1 inch Toytec block. Tires are BFG TA KO 285/65/18. I want new wheels, but thats kinda out the budget right now.

Here are a few pics. Land vehicle Tire Vehicle Car Motor vehicle

Hope YOU GOT GOOD alignment and keep an eye on outside tire wear.

I have realigned and always within spec with Now 0 camber TO try TO REDUCE OUTSIDE TIRE WEAR ON MY mich at/2 p metrics tires. Have mine at full 2.56 lift on 5100. RUNNING 35 PSI.

I have 10,000 miles on fronts and rears total with one rotation.

If I don't see better results in 10,000 miles, I will drop it to lowest .85 inch on 5100.

I have 5100's on the highest setting, and I am having my tires put on this morning. I went with BFG AT 305/65r18 on stock trd wheels.

Well one of my tires is bad! Takes too much weight to balance. Tire rack has already shipped out a new tire, so they say. It looks great! I'll post a pic later. OP- Dont mean to thread jack but since I have the same lift and tires just wanted to show a comparison of the two sizes.

Thanks guys. I had the Toyota dealer do the alignment, so I hope they did it right. I don't put alot of miles on the truck, but I'll definitely keep an eye on tire wear.

Well it's been snowing/raining here so it's very dirty...
Looks good man!. I wanted to go bigger, but I was afraid of rubbing issues . Even with the 285's I still had to bend the skid plate. Now I just need to save up for wheels:)

I want new wheels too but I think my wife would kill me if I spent any more money on the truck!! I bent the skid plate before I had them installed and so far I haven't had any rubbing.

Looks good but I am partial to blackwall instead of raised white letters. I like the BFG's but they are expensive. The General Grabbers AT'2 look almost the same and are much cheaper.

I kinda like the white letters on stock rims. If I had aftermarket rims, more than likely I would go with the blackwalls. Your right the BFG's are expensive. They are by far the most I ever paid for tires. Hopefully they'll last for a while.

was there any improvement in ride? I have the trd bilsteins and they are super stiff.
From what I've read it's as stiff or stiffer than the factory TRD shocks.

From what i can tell they ride about the same as the TRD Bilsteins. They do seem to handle bumps and road imperfections better.

any improvement would help and a little extra height in the front doesn't hurt either.

Especially with these roads here in Louisiana. Even smooth roads aren't that smooth

I live way up here in northwest Louisiana and the roads are terrible here too! I don't think the ride changed from TRD shocks to the 5100's. A week or two later I got the BFG's and that definitly didn't help the ride!! Load E tires plus they are an all terrain. But still worth it to me, it looks 100% better.

Nice starting point. Your truck is like a blank canvas waiting for Picasso. So many possibilities. Keep us posted.

Yeah, the roads up there are just as bad as down here. Just another thing Louisiana is known for!
