I don't post here as much as I have in the past so I thought I'd start a thread and share some pictures of my new tundra. My 2007 was nearing 7 years old so I took the plunge and bought a new one. It's a 2014 SR5 TSS Edition 5.7l. I bought it one month ago and I have done a few mods so far. I added an oh sh*t handle on the drivers side to help me get into this huge truck. Pro Comp 6" lift, XD809 18x9 -12 offset, trail grappler 35x12.5 Here are some before and after pictures.

Congratulations on your new truck. It looks great. Hoping to replace my '07 in a year or so also and no doubt I'll get another Tundra.

Thanks man! I'm really enjoying the new one. The interior isn't perfect, but it's better than the old one.

Contrats on that great looking new Tundra. It has a cool attitude with the lift and wheels/tires. Hope you enjoy this one for the next 7 years.

Thank you FL! I do hope to keep this one worry free for many years. I had a 6" skyjacker lift on my old tundra but this one seems way bigger. My wife said the tires looked too small and I should've gotten bigger ones

Maybe she wants that "Monster Truck" look. You're lucky to have a cool wife.

Absolutely sick dude. The more I see the 14's, the more I want one. After seeing your's, I think I'll mosey on down to the Toyota dealer. Enjoy.
That's what happened to me too. I thought the 2014s looked ok, but when I started seeing lifted ones I couldn't resist any more. The changes are subtle but I really like the looks. Some say the grille is too big but I actually really like it and I love the new tailgate. All models now come with a backup camera and it has come in handy. Good luck to you at the dealer. Hopefully you can get a good deal on one!

I actually followed a DIY from a member at TT. It's really easy but you need a couple pieces of hardware that can be had at Lowes or HD. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link from there but it's in the 2014 forum. The pillar trim and handle are about $130 plus a couple bucks for the hardware. I can't believe that Toyota deleted it for the new model. I'm sure they'd say that's what customers asked for.....

Something like that. I couldn't care less about gas mileage! My last tundra had a 6" lift too, so no real change. I only drove 49k miles in 7 years in the old one.

You're about as bad as my wife!!;):D:angrywife:
I just replaced her '99 Subaru Outback with only 75k on it. She's had the '14 Subaru since November and only has 650 miles on it.

Yeah the hypertech speedo calibrator will do the trick. I had one on my old tundra and I have one on order for the new one. I'm not sure how much it affects shift points since all it does is trick the speedo and odometer. It's nice to have the speedo correct though. I should have the new one this week.
