Need 35in. tires that fit 20x8.5 rims

9530 Views 15 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  jessef2502
after having a giant issue with my other 20x10 wheels with a ridiculous offset.. i finally got the seller to agree to trade rims. The rims im gonna be using are XD rockstars 20x8.5 inches with a +10mm offset and 5.14 backspacing. im gonna be running these wheels on a 6 inch lift.

My question, does toyo make a 35" open country MT tire that will fit this size rim? if not is there any other good looking descent tire that will mount on there.

My question....are you not capable of going to Toyos website and finding the answer for yourself? It takes all of 30 seconds to go to toyotires.com and look up the Toyo MT and see that they make two versions that work with 8.5" wide wheels....315/60/20 and 35x12.50x.20...
WOW. Jerrkkk!!!!! now i know. seriously im new at this im trying to find answers i dont need sarcasm. if you didnt wanna reply. you shouldnt have. i honestly would have rather scrounged around trying to find the answer myself thank to have some ******* get smart with me. its unnecessary. Ive met the first ******* on this forum.
Haha... welcome to the forum. :laughing3d: I've seen alot of guys get ripped new ones by starting a thread. I'm usually a responder now because of that. haha

I researched three different brands for you (Toyo MT, Nitto TG, Cooper STT) and all that are 35x12.5x20 can be ran with a 8.5" wide wheel. It's almost safe to assume all other brands will be the same.

Ok, but you also have to understand how many guys join the site and ask one question like that and then never post again. People just get tired of answering the same lift/tire size question over and over again. Hope you found what you were looking for and good luck with your truck.

Good point... points sent for that. :tu: I've seen that happen alot too over the past 2 years i've been a member. It's like... Drive-By thread starters. :beavbutt: "We are not knowledge whores! People can't pick our brains then leave us on the corner once they get what they want." :angrywife: (okay I think it's time for bed...)
Seriously dude?? Ive been on this forum quite a long time, and have helped alot of people, including you in your post about rim width/offset. But when you post a question that takes all of 30 seconds to answer yourself, ya, Im gonna give you a hard time. If youre smart enough to find this forum and ask questions, how come you cant figure out how to answer an easy question before you ask it and prevent yourself from looking like a lazy ***?

Amen. It would have taken way less time to google Toyo tire sizes than to find TS, open an account, start a thread, and get pissy with the responses.:D Points sent.

So then don't answer the question....too many people on here give sh!tty responses to duplicate questions. Just move on and ignore the question...I do agree though that a lot of people ask questions that they can answer for themselves pretty quickly by searching the net....

It's so hard not to say anything when there are people like coleryan that insist on starting new threads about the same thing repeatedly. I understand that a lot of people find this site because they are in a delima and are searching the net for an answer. I still really like to give people a hard time , but I also do understand. It's all good this guy got his answer.
well now i know... ive never joined a forum before.
@ 671 Tundra: thanks for the info and not being a dick about it!

I've tried that, but the next day the same person starts another thread asking the same question because noone responded the first time...and it entices me...I try to fight it, but it's no use. I have to respond.:D

Welcome to TS. There's lots of info on here. Just had to bust your balls a little.:D
