Hey!

I have a 06 DC Tundra 4.7 and decided to change the trans fluid. Had no problems with shifting at all prior. Drained the pan and exactly 4 quarts came out. I put 4 quarts back in and checked the fluid on a level surface using the A/T oil temp light. Nothing came out the check plug so I added another quart. So I ended up adding 5 quarts for it to show good. Now it is shifting a little harder and OD is delaying. Again no shifting issues at all before. Should I drain it again and just put 4 quarts in and see if that fixes it? How reliable is the oil temp light using the OBD jumper? The trans has never been serviced prior.

thanks!

Did it over flow with another quart? I would check it again with the procedure and make sure it is good. Let it flow out to a trickle
