i would go with alpine over Just Lose it any day of the week. and the pioneer shallow mount subs sound very good. we installed a bunch of them when they first came out and i was impressed with that little sub. especially for the price!

image dynamics subs blow jl out of the water. they are not expensive either and sound wayyyyy better in small enclosures imo. not tryin to be a buzzkill , but jl is just a name like nike and sony. digital designs also has great subs. but to each his own.
