For the life of me I cant figure out to to re-install the upper glove box spring. I see a where the "hook" goes onto the face but cant figure out where the other end hooks to the "box"

Here are some pics to explain.

Here is the spring.

I *believe* the 2 red parts go together.

But how does the other end of the spring go? I know it must go here somewhere; but where?

Anyone out there that can help? Pics would be great

While everyone is looking at their second glove box door, please check the upper corners and how they fit relative to the dash. Are they flush or do they sink down in each corner?

slightly sunk on mine. noticed it when i put the AC vent trim on with the CF dash kit the other day. not enough to cause concern anway. kinda matches the way the pass side of the dash sinks at the a pillar hahaha.

mine is also sunk in a little; not very much but if you look close you can see the top is in a little

Ive pretty much just dealt with it. Figured Id give it another shot to see if anyone could assist
