Hello members,

I have been the proud owner of my 2k Limited Tundra (258K) miles for the past 20 years. I had a sunroof installed in or around 2003 and now the headliner fabric is starting to drop or peel away.

Are there any replacement headliners for our early Tundras or will I need to take the headliner down and re-layer it with a type of headliner cloth. Please advise.

thanks

Is it de laminating or just coming down from the roof? They are semi rigid and not glued to the roof but just sort of held in place by things like the assist grips and sun visors.
If its de laminating you might have to replace it but never heard of that ever happening. If its just starting to sag why not just get some heavy duty glue or 2 way tape and stick it back up.

Pics might help show what you are talking about.

Thanks for responding, it's coming down from all around and it's been getting worse over time.. Small pieces of the backing black foam is starting to fly around with the windows down and open roof.

I think I will go look at the headliner material at Hobby Lobby and see what they have in stock, research reocommended glue material, remove the headliner and re-layer it. I see there are plenty links on removing the headliner and I was hoping I could purchase a 1-piece replacement headliner like I did when restoring my 67 mustang.

thanks
