So I went down to Les Schawb's today and talked with the tire guy, about some new rims and tires. He suggested a set of 18" rims (18x9, 6-5.5) and a pair of Toyo Open Country 285/60R-18. He said there would be a little bit of a rub but nominal. My truck is a 2005 Tundra Double cab limited 4x4, stock with no lift. He also said that with the VSC that I have on my truck they don't do any lifts with that. I have been reading the forums about tires and wheels, and the popular tire out there seems to be the Nitto's Terra Grappler. So the advice I was looking for is the rub really that nominal with the Toyo's or Nitto's, because I was going to look for the rims and tires via internet. So before I commit I would like to know a bit more about this set up. Thanks for all who help.
