Just bought a new '10 5.7L Crewmax to replace my '01 AC. Pick it up tomorrow. This is somewhat of a unique truck as its not a loadesd Limited like just about all the other CMs in the area. Had just what I need so I grabbed it. Anyway, looking to do waterproof seatcovers ASAP as I have 2 kids and a pitbull with little respect for a new interior. I've had Wet Okoles before in a Ford, nice but pricey and I still wore them ot in 6 years. I'm thinking the Cordura type like the GTs will be good, whats the opinion here? Also the floormatts. Weathertechs look good, any other options just for comparison? Thanks.

I don't have the answers but congrats on your new truck. I've had my new CrewMax for 11 days and I am very happy. I am also interested in seat covers so I'm curious to see what replies you may get.

congrats. we are going to the dealer to sign paper on a 10' CM 5.7 4x4 tomorrow afternoon, cant wait. will be covering the seats in some type of heated leather.

as for seat covers, no kids here but we have used wet o's in the past. they lasted us for the four years we had them and then sold the jeep. hard on them to, golden retriever, etc but never wore them out. as for the GT ive never used them but i would ask if for a material sample of their endura and/or neoprene. other than GT its pretty much wet o and shear comfort. have seen a set of SC's "wet o" copies and they looked fine.

good luck and congrats.

Thanks guys. From the description the GT "Endura" seems like textile street riding jacket material, or soft luggage material. I have both and its very durable and also does not "catch" objects or dog claws and pull. You tend to slide off it easy. It sounds like a good choice for a sport type seat cover. I'm also a dirt bike rider/racer so I get into the truck dirty sometimes and need something easy to clean.

I would have put the kids in a crate a long time ago if it wasn't for my wife, but I don't have the heart to lock up my pit like that.:becky:

Well I picked it up and drove the crap out of it all weekend. Very nice. So far, with only 300 miles, no issues like rattles or other QC problems. Tight and quiet as expected. I read a lot about thin sheet metal and painted plastic dash materials when researching the truck, and honestly I don't see this. Yeah, the interior plastic is hard, but they all are now. Truck vin# also falls under the VVTi TSB but the dealer refused to address a non-existant (symptomatic) problem on a new truck. Claims TSBs are done on as needed basis, unlike recalls, and also that it does not mean that the VVTi springs are wrong, just that they could be. Don't know if this is correct policy but I have had excellent service by this dealer in the past. Anyway, not going to sweat it now.

Welcome to the CrewMax club! I still love mine after almost 3 years; matter of fact, I think I might like it even more now that I have done all the mods, etc. to it......
