I have ask several tire shop - if i can add 275/55/20 on my truck. Some say yes - others say no. i have a texas edition that came with 265/50/20. Can i go up one? Would have issue on how i turn my wheel left or right. Please assist.

I never had a first gen tundra and this is the second gen section.... but if the truck came stock with those tires then I'm sure that the 275's would fit. There's not a significant difference in those two sizes.

Hey Pete,

Let me know what you decide to do. I'm in the same boat as you. I just bought an 06 Tundra Darrell Waltrip DC Tundra and I will need tires pretty soon.

Mike,

I decide on the 265/50/20 - bridgestone alenzie - 225 per tire. I did go to dct and they did put on the 275/55/20 and they did rub when i made a hard turn. Man those tires look great on my truck at 161 per tire. Will see how long these tire last. The toyo last only 33,000 mile. Hope you have better luck.
