Hey guys - first post here.

I come from a 2001 Tacoma background and just bought an 03 Access cab this week. I love it so far. I have every service record from the original owner and am excited to know how well it's been taken care of.

That being said - it is a 20 year old truck with 180,000 miles and there are a few things going on that I am unsure of and a few other that are simple fixes.

First question - My tachometer starting dropping to zero intermittently this morning. I wasn't able to get any live data from the OBD2 before it started working again, so I'm not sure if the ECU is getting correct info or not. From what I've read (not a ton out there as far as fixes go), if the ECU is getting correct info, I need to chase the wiring from the ECU. Can someone point out to me which wire / wires and where does it go after the ECU?

And here is my old rig (unfortunately it was stolen) - COSTMAN13's 2001 Tacoma

And here's my new one (bone stock...for now...)
