New Upper Control Arms, or new wheels?

I am going to put a 2.5 toytec lift with 285/75/16 tires and i have heard that with stock 16x7 wheels it will rub the UCA. I know i can go with a wider wheel and different backspacing. But can i get a set of Total Chaos UCA and keep stock wheels with no rubbing on them?

Don't take this the wrong way, but yur going to spend 600 on a pair of uca's & your suspension lift is a 100 bucks. Seems kind of backwards. I think you should buy coilover's first, then sell your spacer, then have them test fit one tire on yur stock wheel to see it it rubs or not. If it does then use the 100 bucks to buy one wheel, and all you have to do is buy 3.

Just my 2 cents.
The only thing is i dont have $1500 for just suspension. Coilovers would be 900 from Camburg and UCAs would be 600.

You dont need uca's, alot of people run stock uca's, but you will need new rims possibly or wheel spacer.
Wheeler's Off Road... thats where i got my stuff from, Donahoe Coilovers with Camburg UCA's for $1300.00. No sales tax and free shipping. Truck Shop in San Diego/Miramar area did the install for $150 and another $50 for alignment..although i still need wheels, it rides a lot better
