I live 7 miles from the dealership and my brother in law told me about it. It was AWESOME. The only thing I wish they did was to use the Hemi with LSD when they did the pull with the Dodge. I was pleased that the Dodge did put up the biggest fight. The Chevy and Ford were a joke, but with open diffs and 4.7 and 5.3 liter engines it was unfair. Still great to see the Tundra drag them around.

Doesn't get much better than that! What would have made it even better is if they had done the contests in front of the respective dealerships
or if we found out they sent out a secret agent and this was the test drive of the Chevy, Ford and Dodge.:D :tu:

Putting ANY open diff truck against a LSD equipied truck isn't even going to be close in this competition. I agree it still would have won but make sure you run as close to apples to apples as you can get to remove any doubt.

Cool vids, thanks

Probably not the fairest test though, the Tundra has the Auto LSD. You can see that tires are spinning very unevenly on the Ford and Dodge which probably means no decent means of distributing power to the wheels.

I'd bet that my Jeep Wrangler (mechanical lockers front and back) in low gear could tow that Tundra around all day. Or strap up a Tundra to the Dodge Powerwagon with dual lockers, I know it's a 3/4 ton but that would be good for a laugh.

I'm not knocking the Tundra, I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything! I'm just saying these types of test are all about traction...not power.

Fun videos, but not a fair comparison. Open diffs on the Ford and Dodge put them at a distinct disadvantage. Only the GM appeared to have LSD (besides the Tundra).

I think the videos of the side-by-side 0-60s with a load and/or with a loaded trailer show a better comparison (Oh, and the Tundra won those too!)
