hEy guys
not sure if this is a problem or it's the way it is since I've been hearing this noise since I bought the truck (2007 tundra 5.7l), but every time I accelerate I hear this "whistling sound" that lasts about 1 second. Def not engine grunning noise. It's a high pitch, distinctive noise.
Anyone has this noise/issue?
I bought the truck in for this and they replace the drive belt. I was hoping they would replace the tension pulley but they didn't. Please advice

Do you have the stock air filter still? I put in a K&N panel filter and acquired a high pitch whistle at certain throttle positions.

Roll down the passenger window and play with the gas pedal. At first I thought it was the fan for the cab. I agree very annoying but I've learned to live with mine.
