I had my check engine light on and knew it was for the O2 sensors. Bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 2. I cleaned the MAF and throttle body yesterday and cleared the codes. Usually when I would clear the codes they would return in about 10-20 driving minutes. It has been 24 hours and the codes have not returned since cleaning the MAF and throttle body. This is the first time I cleaned the MAF and throttle body, 90,000 miles. The filter was changed around 60,000 miles. This is a just a tip that if the code is for the O2 sensors, clean the throttle body and MAF. I will still be replacing the O2 sensors since I already have them, but I just need the time to do it.

I cleaned my throttle body on Sunday. Man! What filth. Only 18,000 miles. Black oily crap. Scared to touch the MAF. Maybe after some more miles. Truck does seem to run smoother.
