I had my check engine light on and knew it was for the O2 sensors. Bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 2. I cleaned the MAF and throttle body yesterday and cleared the codes. Usually when I would clear the codes they would return in about 10-20 driving minutes. It has been 24 hours and the codes have not returned since cleaning the MAF and throttle body. This is the first time I cleaned the MAF and throttle body, 90,000 miles. The filter was changed around 60,000 miles. This is a just a tip that if the code is for the O2 sensors, clean the throttle body and MAF. I will still be replacing the O2 sensors since I already have them, but I just need the time to do it.
