Hey ya'll from the West coast! I saw something earlier about 4 point font, so this should make it even easier on you! :D I went to a 6!

OK, maybe that was too much. I'll crank it down to a 4. I almost missed this thread. Usually I'm not scanning the other "regions" threads.

Looks like this coming summer I'll need to get my eyes checked for real and I'll probably end up with some reading glasses. It's the up close stuff that get's me. :( My daughter turns 9 on Cinco De Mayo and my son turned 5 last Thanksgiving Day. I picked up the Tundra from Dianne on a special order exactly 5 days before he was born. Perfect timing!

Still modding my truck. The last thing the ol' girl received was an updated front end (aka a grill guard and winch)! :D Now's she's sagging a bit  , so some new springs for the front are on order. In fact, we just paid her off a couple of months ago. :tu: We have two camping trips coming up in June and July, both to Oregon. The first will be to the coast (Umpqua Lighthouse state park) for a week and the second trip will be up to Crater Lake and then onto Bend and the lava tubes. I can hardly wait!

Here's hoping everyone is healthy and happy with whatever you are doing!

Cheers!

Crap! Does that mean I'm old too? I see you're 44 also. I refuse to get old!!! My Tundra helps keep me young. :D

On that note, I'm driving to Vegas on Friday to meet some of our NV and AZ members. We're going to check out a local trail (nothing too difficult) on Saturday after a breakfast at IHOP's. Sunday, we have an afternoon of bowling and then dinner planned. I'll be driving back home on Monday. Whew! Good times! :tu:

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Good luck getting them resolved. :tu:

My Tundra just went past the 100,000 mile mark about 2 weeks ago and she hasn't run any better! Man I love this truck! :D

Thanks Hippo! Happy holiday's to you too! :) Just returned from a 6-day, 2,000 mile round trip up to Seattle, then over to Walla Walla, Wa, then home. Visited my cousins and an Aunt. Yesterday was a 13 hour, 700 mile jaunt home. Arrived 10 minutes before midnight. Happy to be back in my own bed to start the new year. :tu:

I am glad to see you made it home in one piece. I am familiar with Roseville as I have an old military buddy who lives there.

I did a similar solo road trip except I went across country to MD and as far south to MS and back to WA in 19 daye (7173 miles) -- but on a motorcycle.
Thanks! Small world, huh?

Wow! That is quite a motorcycle trip! Longest I did (not sure of the total mileage) was all nine states in the west EXCEPT for Nevada. I was on a 1981 Honda CX500 and my dad was on a 1979 Honda Hawk. We even hiked from the south rim to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Had to hitch-hike back, but that's another story! :p Then we continued on to Yellowstone, Walla Walla, WA and down through Crater Lake in Oregon. I think we were gone almost two weeks. I had just turned 18.
