Just thought I would start a thread and have all the old timers check in. Are some of you original old time members still out there? Hello Hello :D

Hola Amigos!

"Alpine" Tundra has 114,000+ on her now. Still runs as smooth as the day she came home (and I added the K&N, and I added the headers, and I added the Bassani, and...........) LOL. What a blessing this truck has been. I have really put her to work the past couple months, as I have been doing some oil field stuff northwest of Fort Worth. I am so thankful for all the mods, as many of them have become very helpful either to me or to others in need.

Anyhow, I'll be looking forward to the next get-together. Sure hope I can make it schedule-wise.

Be blessed!:thumb:
It is nice to see old names. A get together not out of the question. About the only time I drive my truck is to pull our 29 ft RV, otherwise it sits in the drive. Can not stand the fuel bill. My Prius gets much better mpg. Have not seen many other Tundras pulling such a big rig. Has anyone else? It pulls REAL nice & mpg does not change.:blabla:

Good to see you post. Don't see many big trailers behind Tundras around here. Biggest I have pulled over any distance was a 21' center console tandem axle boat. Barely knew it was there, except for pulling out of the gas station.

The other day I did see a Tacoma pulling what looked like a 24' cuddy cabin boat. Not quit sure how he was stopping that thing, guess you had to think WAY ahead of time. ;)
Hey there fellow Texans, just shootin the....well ya know.

I haven't posted in months, but I expect with my 75k coming up I will be lurking around a little more.
WOW!

This was buried back a few pages.

Checkin' in and all is well. Last time I was in the forum :blah: I had posted about Danny's accident and his new 2010 Toy.

Well, we now have 3 big Tundras on our small street, :becky:we some times have mini meets.

:gossip: Yep, the kid (HOTundra) could not take lookin' at her Dad's 2010 Tundra so she went and bought a new 2010 Tundra I think in December.

Anyway, I hope all of the :eastwood: Texas Tundra Gang are doing well.

Best wishes,
Kat

This thread's been dead for almost 2 years! Wow is right.

Still driving my '03 & it has about 156K on the ticker. Still purring like she was brand new.

Be blessed all!

Gary
Yea, I feel like my 2nd generation truck is starting to seem a little outdated ;)
2002 - 86K on it (its more for weekend driving now)
Got a new Kia Sorento (baby mobile) so that's been getting most of the attention lately.

However I need to replace the 2002 front bumper, I used to have the technical thread on it, but have since lost the link. Any ideas where those went off to?
Keepin' the light on...

Still awesome in Austin!

Old Jade is getting close to 77,000 miles...still runs like new. Original battery finally gave out about 1,000 miles ago...could not believe that it lasted for 8.5 years!!! Don't drive much now that I'm retired, so I'm expecting her to outlive me. LOL

Hope y'all are doing well and have a great summer!

~MS
Im still around. Still have my '01, now at 150,000 miles and still going strong. Hope all you old timers are doing well. :tu:
I'm still around, rarely get on TS anymore, but will check out this thread when I get notified of activity.

Old Jade is still hangin' in there. Might hit that 77,000 miles this year. Don't think I've put 200 miles on her since I last posted here over 10 months ago. Kinda nice only having to buy gas a couple of times a year.

Lovin' retirement...don't know how I ever got anything done when I had a full time job!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Me too! Turned 170,000 miles and purring like a kitten. New meats a few months back, and been using her as a deer lease gopher. Airing up and down regularly to go from off-road to over-the-road and back.

Be blessed, y'all!

I'm about as old a timer as it gets. Let's see, 12 years, 3 trucks, 3, states, 2 wives, 2 coasts; and I'm still alive.
Sure is quiet in here... :couch3:

Still here!
Still driving my '03 LTD.
Come Dec '13, I'll have owned it 10yrs, :romance::washdish:
Turned over 210k miles on my 03 regular cab this week.

A couple of months ago, I valet parked it at a restaurant in the Galleria area of Houston. As I tipped the valet when leaving, he said, "Man. Nice truck." Made my day.

I am posting most often in the hotrodders.com forum these days. I've got a blog of my current project: http://s10hotrod.blogspot.com/
Hello "Old timers", I decided to share some Christmas spirit of giving sent points to you all on this last page. Happy Holidays and Be Safe out there! HIPPO
Thanks Hippo! Happy holiday's to you too! :) Just returned from a 6-day, 2,000 mile round trip up to Seattle, then over to Walla Walla, Wa, then home. Visited my cousins and an Aunt. Yesterday was a 13 hour, 700 mile jaunt home. Arrived 10 minutes before midnight. Happy to be back in my own bed to start the new year. :tu:
I'm still around, still have my '01 Tundra. Now at 180,000 and going strong. Sure good to see that some of the old timers are still checking in. You all take care. Maybe we can do a meet sometime to get back together. Joe
