I just updated my 2005 Sport Tacoma to a 2015 Tacoma. I love these trucks. Anyway I was using Toyota oil filters and on the 2005 I was using 90915-YZZD3 and on the 2015 I see it came with a 90915-20004. Are these the same? If not what is the difference?
Thanks

Congrats on your new Tacoma! We still have our 2005 Off Road double cab. It seems the 90915-20004, your OEM filter, was made in Japan and is fitted to new engines at the factory. You should be able to get them from your dealer, but 90915-YZZD3 is a direct replacement and is made elsewhere in Asia, and is probably easier to find and less expensive. It's built to Toyota specs and quality doesn't seem to be an issue. That's all I've ever used on our 2005, and no problems.

I just bought a 2016 Tacoma with the V6. My wife drives a 13' Lexus 350 RX. I bought extra oil filters for her car from a Toyota dealer who sells parts/accessories on-line. The part number (Toyota OEM filter) is 04152-YZZA1. Will these fit the Tacoma 3.5 V6 as well?

Update..dealer confirmed this is the right filter.
