Ordered my Tundra today!
I finally placed an order for a 2007 Tundra 4x4 Limited, Red Rock Leather w/ Nav, TRD Package, DC, 5.7L V8, etc...chrome running boards and TRD exhaust (and a few other things)!!
I'm really excited...the only downside is I will have to wait anywhere from 60-100 days as its a "special order".
Thanks to everyone here for all the information and advice. This is my first Toyota...and I'm glad to be a part of this crowd :tu:

How does one go about tracking the build status/progress of their trucks? I assume it will be a few weeks before I get a reference number of any kind...do you just register on the Toyota website?

Maybe Toyota should change the new Tundra slogan to:
Tundra - The truck that's changing it all (except for the way we sell trucks).

we can track it, but it is not in a system that you can track. And even then it is just a windowDarn, I thought you could track the progess online...kinda like BMW.
