O2 Sensor Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2)... I got that information from the code report that was run at Advance Auto parts. I just bought this 4Runner on Saturday, here it is Friday and there is already something wrong. There is some talk around the forum that Toyota has extended the warranty of these parts...(forgive me, I am new to the forum and haven't scoured it for the truth yet...) Is that the case? If not, how do I go about correcting the problem. :ts:

ANy emmision parts are covered to 50K. Take it to the dealer and he should make it good

I bought it used and it already has 70k on it... so warranty is out of the question...

I ordered the Bank 2 Sensor 2 replacement from a Toyota dealer... I am now trying to change the sensor... I get the old one out(located after the Cat and on the Driver side) the part number on it is TOYOTA 89645-60220, the part on the new one from the dealer is TOYOTA 89645-60200... Is it okay to use this one? :ts:
89465-60220 is B2 S2 for a 4.0L V6.

89465-60200 is B2 S2 for a 4.7L V8, looks like he gave you the wrong one. The extended warranty coverage for the emissions system doesn't cover sensors, only covers the ECU and the converter(s) for 8 years/80,000 miles. So unless you were in California (CA emissions vehicles have a 5/50 warranty) the sensors would've been covered 3 years/36k miles.
