The other day after driving about 15 miles Ck Engine + 4WD + VSC light came on. Checked error code, came back P0346 (Cam Shaft Position Sensor). Coincidentally I noticed that my wife's hand bag accidentally shifted the gear shift into 4WD position.

Cleared the error code and it has not come back since. I'm wondering if the 4WDdriving mode has a max speed, that I may have unknowingly exceeded and that caused the error code?

Anyone know where this sensor is located and difficult to change it?

For your vehicle P0346 only shows up on TIS in an extended DTC chart as "VVT Sensor Monitor".
The camshaft position sensor codes for your vehicle do not include P0346, they are:

P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0342 Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Low Input (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
P0343 Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit High Input (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
P0345 Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit (Bank 2)
P0347 Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Low Input (Bank 2)
P0348 Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit High Input (Bank 2)

If it is your camshaft position sensor it likely has nothing to do with 4WD or a speed limit. If it does it again it is most likely the sensor or its wiring but could also be the timing gear itself. Looks like they are installed externally on the timing gear end of your valve covers.
