I am replacing a post cat, passenger side 2 O2 sensor on my 2000 Tundra to hopefully fix OBD code P0156. I have the old sensor off. The mounting nuts on the old unit were so rusted that they were almost gone! Does anyone know whether this is simply a metric nut and if so what size, or is the fastener somehting special? I would HATE:mad: to strip the mounting studs!!! Thanks!!!:yo:

I had the same problem. I called my local dealer and bought
the replacements. They had them in stock. I'm not sure of
the size. Possibly 10mm. While you have the sensor off take
a wire brush to the threaded posts and then put some anti-
seize on them. After I put the nuts on I actually coated them
with anti-seize to protect them a little bit. Good luck.

Yeah, it was funny, when I did mine one of the nuts
took an 8mm and the other a 10mm. On the other sensor
I couldn't get the nuts off as they kept crumbling and
rounding out. I used my Craftsman bolt out set to get those
off.
