I coded w a friends program laptop, a P2441 code fault. Secondary air injection system switching valve, stuck closed position. How do I clear this or repair? I cleared the code w the computer but it came back. This is on a 2008 Tundra. Thx for any suggestions provided.

Get it to the dealer. Toyota extended the warrenty to 10 years 150,000 miles, on the AIP system.

AND ..... make sure you take it in when the CEL is ON. Do not clear the code.

any more info on this recall I just got this code p2441 & my local Toyota dealer knows nothing about a recall for this (2007 tundra 4.7L double cab 113k miles) thanks so much

It isn't a recall. It is an extension of the warranty to 10 years/ 150 k miles.

just had my air ass. pump replaced under warranty plus there is a computer update done at same time. Service bulletin went out to the dealership, they should know.

Took my 08 Tundra to a shop to have my check engine light diagnosed, Code P2441 and P2442. Secondary air injection system valve stuck closed on 1 and stuck open on 2. Had the same issue in 2013, Toyota dealer fixed it under warranty in 2013. Called Toyota today and they won't warranty it, say they only cover one fix of the system.
