I have 2 borchures from Toyota. One is a multi page layout that is about 37 pages long. The other one is much smaller and only 9 pages long.

For a standard bed 4WD DC Limited the payload capacity:

The big one says 1655lbs
The small one says 1560lbs
May/June Truck Trend says 1180lbs

What's up with the differences? I can see the Truck Trend difference because they may have tested a pre-production model. The 2 brochures are from Toyota with 02/07 as the print date.

What is the actual payload capacity?

Best bet is too actually look at the Monroney Sticker on the truck at a dealer. It says right on it. Also from the Toyota website.

1665 is a 2WD

1560 is a 4WD

All those numbers are for the same truck

"For a standard bed 4WD DC Limited the payload capacity:"

The 2WD numbers are higher
1755lbs in the big brochure
1560lbs in the small brochure
The Truck Trends mag only tested a 4WD model.
