Where is it that you see this? Especially since 5W-30 isn't a Toyota recommended weight?

its ok for you to step up a grade, that would be my recommendation! I'm running Torco oil Synthetic 5w30 =)

cant go wrong with using the oem recomended 0w20 at least you know there will be no warrenty issues ...

UOA's have proven Penz Platnum to be very much worthy lubrication.
As for the 30W in a Tundra .....not a chance.
