I see some of the memeber posts photos and they show up large and others post and they have the small thumbnail photos and you click on them and they enlarge. How do I post photos that are already large on the page?

When you go to post, right above where you type, in the same line as the Bold(B), I key, Underline(U) key, ect...there is an icon that looks like a moutain ^. Click that icon and you can paste a URL code from a website like Photobucket or similar. It should then post the pic you want. Just remember there is a limit to the size of your pictures, 800X? I believe, so adjust. Hope this helps.:tu:

Provide the URL to the pic. From there we should be able to tell if you can resize by changing a few numbers in the URL or if you have to resize and repost the URL.

If you want the pic to show up in the reply, get the raw URL to the pic (i.e. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/images/misc/hp_ts_logo.jpg). Take that URL and add the following tags to the beginning and end. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/images/misc/hp_ts_logo.jpg [ /img ] and you'll get something like this:

[img]http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/images/misc/hp_ts_logo.jpg.

There's no coding in the URL to change the size. However, if the URL has numbers like this: http://lh5.ggpht.com/_oJh5dgNo-iY/SiLLS6DP9CI/AAAAAAAABwQ/27M10JoBMxs/s800/Hollister Hills1.JPG, usually you can change the s800 number to a smaller (or bigger) size. Here's how it looks as unchanged:

Here it is downsized to s400: http://lh5.ggpht.com/_oJh5dgNo-iY/SiLLS6DP9CI/AAAAAAAABwQ/27M10JoBMxs/s400/Hollister Hills1.JPG

Hope that helps.

Here is a post I did on another site.

Thought I would do a writeup since it seems to be a common question and we all like to see pictures.

1. First you need an image hosting site to upload your pictures to, I use photobucket.com

2. Then while in photobucket scroll over top of the image you would like to post in your thread, a menu slides down, highlight and copy the IMG code.

3. Go back to your post and in your message or thread right click and select Paste. ( In this step do not use the insert image icon. Simply paste into your message. )

Your picture should be good to go. You can select preview post if you want to check before you submit.

Another way to post pictures is to

1. Open your picture in photobucket or other host site to its regular viewing size.

2. Right click the picture and select Copy Image Location

3. Go back to your post and click the Insert image Icon at the top of the message box. Right click in the box and select Paste, Then click ok.

Again you should be good to go now.

Good to hear you got it figured out. As for the hood its a work in progress I'm building.
I would like a hood scoop like the Tacoma but haven't seen anything like it yet for my truck. You have any ideas or suggestions. Keep me posted on your work in progress with that hood
