I have searched all over this forum, so if I have missed a thread about this, someone please redirect me.

I have a '07 DC Limited and I hate that the power window lock button locks out all the non-driver windows even for the driver. My lab has figured out that if he steps on the window switches on either side in the back he can lower the windows even more, so I always lock them when he's in the truck. But every time I need to adjust them for whatever reason I have to remember (and never do) to cancel the window lock, then relock, and on and on. . .

The driver should have control of all the windows no matter if the lock is engaged or not!

I would like the other three switches on the driver's door to operate the same as the one for the driver's window (not interested in auto-down, though). Do any of you wiring wizzards know how to achieve this?

Many :ts: from a first-time poster!

It's all inside the master switch in the driver's door. No way to know if it can be modified until somebody tears one apart to see what's inside. Chances are that you are stuck with what you have.

I have a lab who's way smart enough to figure this out also. She's just gotten so old she doesn't waste her energy on such matters anymore. If you can't fix the truck just enjoy the challange, cause one day she/he will slow down and you'll have to slow down for the really big bumps for the ol pouch.

It was worth a shot. Maybe I'll get my hands on a spare switch someday and tinker around with it.
Thanks for the feedback, guys.

waiting tundra: My lab only turned four in January. Trust me, I enjoy the challenge every day and wouldn't trade him for anything!
