Ok, I have decided to go with an early model 4x4 Sequoia instead of a Landcruiser due to the # of passengers i'll usually be carrying in it and general use. I am considering a few with over 100k miles (i've seen a few around $14k-$17k), as this will be my 4x4 toy. I would like one with less miles, but can't justify the cost for a non-daily driver specialty vehicle (as it will be used).

I will probably use this around 5k-7k a year.
Uses: Traveling (out-of-town trips, camping, etc)
a little off-roading (nothing extreme)
pulling a trailer/boat
used vaguely around town (the Sienna/Corolla are the daily drivers).

Other than the timing belt change in the 90-100k mark, what are other expected maintenance things to watch for?
Any other advice so that I know what I am getting into?

Thanks in advance,
Ron

Make sure all the TSB's have been done. Especially the air conditioning compressor.
FWIW my 01 (113K) just required a replacement of the exhaust gasket on one side - parts not bad but a lot of labor, nearly 900 total. But that's a one-off kind of thing, I'd think.
Otherwise I'd say the usual cautions with any high mileage vehicle would apply.
