I'm thinking about getting a dual magnaflow exhaust custom fit to my truck at a local shop, but would like to know the cons of not getting a catback that is made for the tundras. Obviously the pro's of getting it done locally will be a lot easier on my wallet, but i want to know if i would be losing on possible performance gains or if the magnaflow would hurt the performance of my truck.

i also have the volant intake to go with the exhaust. Thanks for your input.

They use 2.5" tubing which is a bit too large in a dual system for the stock 5.7. In mine it killed enough of the torque that the truck went from a rubber burning machine to barely being able to squeak the tires. It did have more top end though. I had to pull the Magnaflow system because the design was terrible....tailpipes hitting the leaf spring etc. When I replaced it with a Borla system, the low end torque returned because the Borla system uses 2 1/4" tubing which is just a bit larger than stock.
