Put a new right rear axle bearing in, had the old one pressed off and on at the local NAPA without issue. Installed everything no problem. Rotated the wheel, sounded like parking brake drag, no issue, I thought. Drove it about 4 miles and had a terrible scraping sound. Pulled it back down and the brake rotor/drum is dragging on the backing plate at the 4 o'clock position. It has worn a groove through the backing plate at 4 o'clock and is lightly dragging at 11 o'clock.

Any ideas, is the backing plate just bent ? It does not appear to be but who knows what happened in the press.

Any help is greatly appreciated,I really don't want to have to pull this all the way down and have a new bearing pressed on.
