Hey to all, notice the emergancy cable hanging loose the other day and decided to jack up the truck and take off the rear hubs (2005 DC), they were a bear to get off. Anyway in the process, stripped three of the lug bolts/nut. Is there a "DIY" on stud removal or is this a simple R&R?

As in jack up truck, take off brake hub, remove backing plate and hammering studs out pushing in new ones? If so I think I can do it. Does the emergancy barke arm have to be removed from the backimg plate to do this? thanks for any advice, CSM-H

Hey to all, turned out to be pretty straight forward...didn't have to take off the back plate, just hammered the studs out and put new ones in......have to "pull" them through with a couple of washers and an extra lug nut. All is good. CSM-H
