rear resonator

if you remove it, how much louder will the exhaust be, i would like a little throatier sound.

Im gonna say, not much at all. Its the smallest resonator ive ever seen.

Do a forum search on exhaust, lots of posts. Lots of choices.

I tried it, it didnt make any difference at all. None! Only took about 5 minutes to pull it off.

one clamp,5 min and no sound change what so ever,reinstall till duals are configured and installed.

I believe it. Typically these resonators are just hollow cavities with a little sound deadener or screening on the inside walls. They are meant to "take the edge off" the overall tone or a certain frequency. Given the huge main muffler on the 5.7 plus a whole bunch of catalysts, I have to think most of the silencing is already done elsewhere.

taking off the factory resonator does very little.
