Rear view camera

Hey guys... So I have a tire hitch carrier that rendered my rear view camera useless. Is there a camera that I can use that is compatible with the jbl system? I have a 2020 TRD Pro sequoia and needed to carry around a spare tire since 35 does not fit in the spare tire underneath the trunk. Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

thanks, i tried them but they didnt have any other options.

im sure there are options out there, so if anyone has any info i would greatly appreciate.

thanks
I am not sure on the year of your vehicle, but you could look into using something like the Beat Sonic camera interface linked below. This is actually for use when installing a front facing camera but surely it could be used on the rear of the vehicle as well.
This way you would still have the OEM camera should ever go back to not needing the carrier.
The other option would be to try your luck at pigtailing the wiring to the OEM camera and making an extension to attached somewhere on the spare.

Amazon has several back-up cameras for sale from $16.00 . Mount where you have to. May be able to splice into original wire...Chap

I purchased this one for my 06 DC. The mounting hides behind the license plate and camera hangs over the plate. I use for backing into my travel trailer hitch. Amazingly clear.. unless at night with lights on but that is not a problem for me. I needed to buy an adapter cable for my JBL head unit but works perfectly. Most work was running the cable.
did you hook this up to your factory head unit? I have the JBL unit on my sequoia and im not sure how the wiring works.
If your unit has a screen chances are there is an RCA jack or a wire on the harness labeled for a back up cameras. These units are easy to pull out and check the back of.
1. Remove heater/ac control knobs. Be careful to not loose those little flat springs in the nobs. Remove the three phillips screws.
2. There are two phillips screws at the top of the center air vents. Point the vents up, they are at the top.
3.The face plate complete with heater control can now be pulled out. Just let it hang by the wires.
4. Remove the four small bolts holding the unit and slide it out..

You can find this process on You Tube if all I did was confuse you... Enjoy the adventure... Chap
Sorry I missed this. Yes my head unit is NAV with JBL sound. RCA plugs right in with the converter cable and then the miracle happens... it just works. Head unit has the functionality but Toyota didn't offer the camera option in 06.
