I've been doing a search on remote starters. Some people have issues after the install, some don't. Some have to keep a "chipped" key under the dash, and some don't.

Just want to see what people have for remote starters. (brand, model, price?) Thanks in advance!

I had a Python alarm with remote start on my 2000 Tundra for 5 years and it worked flawless up to the time I sold it.

I had a Viper 5101 put on mine a year ago at Best Buy. Love it, works flawlessly.

Thanks for the info Bojo. Did you have to purchase any extra hardware/modules for it to work in the Sequoia? Did you have to leave a key under the dash?

An extra module needed to be installed, it was an extra $50-$80. No key under the dash.

Sorry to bother you but do you have a picture of your BEC105 back up camera? I am trying to install my BEC106 but want to make it a little bit more OEM looking (drill some metal).

I will post a pic tomorrow. Not thrilled with my final install. My first install was inside the cab, center, right by the rear window. Now i have it outside, down by the left license plate light. It doesn't look factory.
