I need to get either the Rhino Liner or the Line-X and was wondering what your opinions were. What do you like or dislike about your liners. How much do these liners cost? thanks

Someone will probably post telling you to do a search for this topic, but for whats its worth, I've had Rhino and hated it. It faded to a chaulky dull look in about three weeks. Peeled like crazy and chipped all over.

New truck has Line-X and its only been on for two weeks, but the texture is alot better I think. It just sems to have a better look. Brother has Line-X on his and it still looks the same as the day it was sprayed 2 years ago.

Line-x is better.

Had my Rhino for almost 4 years now. Perfect, nothing slides around, still looks like new with an application of Just Once. No problems at all. I know guys with t he Line-X like it too.
had line-x in the old truck for 4 years, look great, took a serious beating with very minimal damage. ( slid a loaded snap-on tool box off the back with out any ramps, cut 2 slits into the bed on the corner edge of the floor ) getting it again in my tundra
I had Line X sprayed in mine and love it so far but its my first truck and about 2 weeks old. Here's a cell phone pic of what it looks like if your interested.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll go with Line-X. There's a shop that does it close by. I'll try the search next time too. lol
i got speedliner. it looks wet even when its dryed and cured. my dealer also mixed in kevlar at no charge.
Line-X with Kevlar. :tu:
How much are you guys paying for the Line-X? I have a Crewmax on order and will definitely have it lined. Thanks in advance.

Had mine sprayed with Line-X for $397.00.
I have Rhino, I like it. I've had an option of either Line-X or Rhino for the same price. The thing is, Rhino is more rubbery, and it doesn't chip. Line-X chips but I guess you would have to beat it up pretty bad. My buddy has Rhino for 3 years, still looks great.

Its personal prefference if you ask me. I like the Rhino feel. I'm in Construction and I know at least two other trucks that have had the Rhino for 5 years, and it still looks great.
I just had the line X bed liner installed on my 2007 tundra. It is great. The Rhino dealer was to far to use. Many people say that the line x is better. I think that both are about equal. The cost is about $400. PS my liner is basic black. My dealer did not do color. The color ones fad and it is mach more money
Line-X is superior.

Line-X dries instantly while Rhino tends to run and therefore it will be thinner in spots.
Line-X is sprayed heavier than Rhino which is why the price is usually higher. As someone said, the Rhino is more of a rubber feel than Line-X. I have heard of tearing under extreme sliding weight. For the average Joe either will work fine.
Got a quote from Line-x dealer today - $445 for basic black. Another $250 if you want color with Kevlar. They call the color version Line-x Extra. It's supposed to have extra UV inhibitors to keep it from fading. You can also get black with kevlar for $150 extra. I plan on doing just the basic black since my truck is not used for anything heavy duty, and with the bed cover you won't see the bed most of the time anyway.
This is my second truck with Line-X. I love the product and have had no problems what so ever. I had Line-X as part of the deal on my new truck and it cost around $350. I have no experience with Rhino.

Cheers.:)
