Why? The RW wheels are sweet and look better with 33's then a 20" wheel with 33s. Your stock BFG KOs are 285/70/17=32.7".

I agree that I would stay with the factory wheels and BFG's. If you wanted to change the wheels and tires you should have saved the money and not gotten the rock warrior. However, 20" wheels and 33's will work with no lift.

Yeah would be a shame to buy the RW which is really mainly a wheel tire option over the TRD and then take off the wheel/tire combo.

THere are other reasons to go RW. Black interior and bumpers for one. Debadged for those that like that.
The stock RW 17" wheels do give it a beefier look than even going with 20's and a 33" tire would

Mine has a black interior also at no extra cost, black bumpers do not add many $ to the package and its debadged??? Really? did not know that, so that should offset the cost of the bumper paint. The cost of the upgrade is in the wheels and tires.

And you have an SR5, how much did that cost? The RW is basically a SR5 plus TRD shocks RW wheels.
It is uncommon to find black interior on the lots. Mostly grey and many beige.

I bought a grade, And I wonder why you spent so much more to get an SR5. Just as you are thinking, it's my truck and I'll get the one I want, The OP feels the same way

Sounds like you got more what you "could" sorry about that. Anyhow the OP came on here asking "for suggestions" Thats what he is getting. And you are here??..... arguing with the people making suggestions

Ha, he was asking for suggestions and you start with why buy your truck if you are going to change it? I stated that it was worth getting the RW for other reasons. Sounds like you are trying to justify your statement. Pepole here are replacing the extra cost limited and trd wheels and no one is asking why.

I hope you enjoy your RW as much as I have enjoyed mine. As others have stated you should have no problem with the 20's and the 33" tires. On the other hand, I must agree that I don't know why you would buy a RW and swap out the wheels. However, it is not my place to question your decisions or understand why you choose to do what you do. I bought the RW package b/c I like the painted bumpers, the black interior and especially the wheels/tires. I have never liked the standard TRD wheels. Personally I think that you should have the ability to add the RW wheels/tires to any Tundra via a new vehicle purchase rather than purchasing parts after the fact. Oh well, at the end of the day, you like what you like, enjoy and Welcome to TS!

Wow this thread went sour fast! It just seems weird to get the package with distinct wheels and upgraded tires and change them. I don't care what he does I just thought that most guys were buying these for the wheels and tires. I guess I didn't know what all came in the package.

Yes they'll fit all depending on offset/backspacing. I'll take the RW rims/tires off your hands :D

Put a leveling kit on it and then some 315/70/17 BFGs or, if you dont want to lift/level, throw some 305/65/17 BFGs on it, they are wider but the same height as the 285/70s.

You aren't alone. My 17's looked so damn small. Hell even the 37s look tiny on my truck :(

I'd say it comes down to how much you like the wheels and how much sidewall do you want. The more tire, the less cornering you will be able to do. Maybe that doesn't matter. Sometimes the look is most important. I think the RW wheels are the best looking factory wheels but I want at least 18" wheels for proper brake clearance and I don't have the time to drive up rocks just for the fun of it
