its been discussed before, i know several platinum members wanted the bench vs captains. i bet it will work. just have to look at them both to see where all the bolt holes are, and also you might find someone here who wants to trade and ya'll can just give it a shot and see. if i had one, i'd prefer the captains chairs simply for the ability to leave carseats installed and pass between them to get to the rear, so there are people who would want them...just gotta ask around
Second row captins chairs to bench conversion??
Does anyone know if the second row captins chairs can be removed and exchanged for a second row full bench seat? I have a limited w/o a console.

Anytime I have more than 4 people, the 3rd row has to come up, in addition with the bench you'd be able to put 2 car seats side by side and leave the outboard seat forward to access the rear. I'd gladly switch myself.
