Hi All,
Had my serpentine belt break on my '04 Tundra. Found that the tensioner pulley was pretty much toast. So I replace them. Initially all seemed well. When I fired it up later there was a horrible squeaking noise coming from the same location. I removed the belt & made sure the other pulleys all spun without issue. no problem after fighting with this for the last several days I found the loosening the bolt on the tensioner pulley clears it up. Albeit temporarily. It seems the rotation of the pulley eventually tightens the bolt back up. I loosen the bolt by1/4-1/2 turn then it starts without issue. Any suggestions appreciated Thanks, Rob
