Spent the past weekend up at Silver Lake sand dunes in Michigan. I wanted to hit the ORV park but didn't have the time. Has anyone done much dune riding in their Tundra? I did a lot of off-road stuff years ago but never sand and never in my Tundra. The dunes up there are realy cool if you've never been there. It's cool to see all the buggys running around the streets.

With low air pressure our trucks will go about anywhere. Just keep on top of the sand and try no to stop, if you can. I've been to Pismo plenty of times and always have a blast cruzin the dunes. Good luck!!

Yeah I have been to silver lake with my72' chevrolet k-10 but not with my tundra. We took a 4.8L 99' Sliverado out there and it did a decent job. You need to keep your speed or momentum up until you crest the top of the hill. It is a blast to be out there even on the smaller hills.
