Good Day Group,
We own a 2002 Sequoia SR5 140,000 miles, recently it started having a delayed shifting when it warmed up going from first to second gear when you accelerated from a standstill. We took it to a local shop and they first believed that is was the transmission. They dropped the pan and said that the transmission looks great. They changed the filter serviced it and it was still having the same issue.
They now indicated that they have to change both front and rear speed sensors, yaw rate sensor and skid control module. It seems to me that those have to do with the VSC system and that those items would not affect the shifting of the transmission. Trying to work my way around the wiring diagrams and maintenance manual but not having much luck.
Thank you for your help and support. Sincerely, John

Shoot a pm to fritzindian. He's a Toyota tech and is on here fairly often. He could probably tell you if what you are being told is correct. Seems strange to me that you have to 6 items. Wouldn't only 1 item be causing the problem if any?
