That is what the dealer claimed that I just picked my truck up from. I bought a fairly stripped reg cab and asked the dealer to install a sliding rear window. He quoted me $350 which is apperently what the outsourced glass shop quoted him. He said it ended up taking them all day to change the window, had to remove trim, headliner, etc. He said the glass co gave him the original price but waid future units would cost $1000. That seems outrageous, anyone else have different info?

Drive my new RC LB 5.7 Tundra home over 2000 miles. Mileage was between 16-18 depending on grade, head winds, etc.

Of the sliding rear sliding window?? Is it just the factory piece.

I would never pay $1000 either, I thought $350 was a little steep.

I just hope nothing happens to the one I have. A grand would be hard to swallow on repair.
